I arranged my travel to China and Tibet and this agency was very professional. Travelling alone is difficult but they could arrange a room shared with another guy in order to decrease price... I will always thank that :). I visited all the places according to the itnierary. I really recommend this agency Tibet Discovery Tours.

I would like to thank Tibet discovery tours for the most amazing holiday. I would say to anyone out there that is looking for a holiday to China or tibet that Discovery tours is the best company you will find, they are so helpful and will make your holiday stress free. Discovery tours organised everything for us from permits and internel flights to Tibet, then back to Bejing all accommodation organised and all at a remakable price. My husband and I just returned from Tibet and China. We needed help facilitating the Tibet portion of our trip and found this agency online.

Christine, our primary contact was exceptional. Her communication was always prompt and accurate. Her associates, Karen and Linda were responsive when Christine was unavailable. Their handling of all aspects of the trip, from last minute permits, train reservations and selection of guides was flawless. We were so pleased with their handling of the Tibet portion of our trip, we used them for numerous and changing air reservations throughout China.

My husband who travels to China frequently on business vows he will use this agency for all internal China travel in the future. We were happy to meet Christine in Chengdu who offered her services to tour the Panda Reserve with us. What a delight! Her enthusiasm and charm matches her competence. The agency is lucky to have her as an employee. The other "Chengdu Girls", Linda and Karen, were great as well. Finally, we want to acknowledge our Tibetan guide, Norbu and our driver, Nema. They were exceptional. Norbu's knowledge of Tibet, Buddhism and the sites enhanced our experience. We felt safe in Nema's care even when the road conditions were less than ideal. We highly recommend them as well. Thanks to all for making our trip special and easy!

I really appreciated the kindness of the Tibet Discovery Tours staff and how smooth the communications back and forth went. It was very nice to know that you could ask them anything and also bring in some own ideas. The trip itself was amazing and we had friendly and interesting guides. The only mishap was, when the guides didn't seem to know that we have changed our itinerary slightly for one night, but in the end it all worked out fine.

Found Tibet Discovery online and from the start of email exchange, I found Elena, very competent. Actually, found a cheaper Tibet tour on a different site, but opted to stay with Tibet Discovery because of exceptional way this company handles their communication with clients. Am very satisfied from start to finish. Whenever I send email, there will always be a prompt reply no matter what time of the day....just wonder if they ever sleep...???? Once, Elena couldn't give reply to my email, surprisingly there was Bruce who also was so prompt in replying to all my queries. Just amazing how their staff work and treat their clients.

The original schedule was changed to a week later due to some visa problems, but to make it up for the inconvenience, Elena upgraded our hotel accommodation in Chengdu, as well as our tour. We had a private tour. Top this, Elena went out of her way to treat us to a dinner in her home. What a sumptuous meal Elena, her mom and her friend made for us prior to our Tibet train trip. She and her brother even took us to the market nearby their home so we could buy food for the train trip. She made us feel like a family not just clients. How awesome is that!!! You will never find a sales agent like her in any part of the world, only in Chengdu!

Additionally, she kept track of us while in Tibet....making sure everything was in order. We also had a great tour guide Norbu in Tibet.
