Dear Ian!

When I was looking for a 7 day tour of Tibet that included the train journey from Chengdu to Lhasa I came cross www.tibetdiscovery.com and selected a tour that suited my requirements. When I took this information to my travel agent so she could organise this tour in conjunction with a 14 day tour of another company, she informed me that they do not deal with this particular travel agent, but that she could find something similar for me. The tour she came up with was much more expensive so I decided to deal with www.tibetdiscovery.com myself. After making contact and after a number of e-mails had passed between us, I was satisfied that everything was to my requirements and using PayPal, settled my account. After my 14 day tour with the other company was over, I visited the office of the Tibetdiscovery travel agent in Chengdu to settle the rest of the account and I was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff at their office. Ian in particular was very helpful in every respect and I left the office confident that everything would work our just fine and it did!

I can highly recommend this company and I wish it all the success it deserves.

Greetings, Ian, from Shanghai!

Just a word to let you know how much I appreciated Jenny in Xian.  She was not only a terrific guide, delightful to be with all day, but she also helped me mail extra items home so I don't have to carry those 24 lbs these last two weeks of travel, AND she arranged for a car to pick me up at the train station this morning and bring me to my Shanghai Hotel with great dispatch and efficiency.  In this large city with my lack of Chinese language, that was most appreciated.

So thank you so much for everything.

Hi Judy!

Hope you are doing well.. A little over 2 weeks since we got back from the tour, just wanted to thanks for arranging and customizing it to our wishes.
It went mostly very well, very few glitches. The guides and drivers in both tours(Tibet+Beijing) were professional and did their job well. While both teams did very good, I must say that Lisa Beijing guide and Chen her driver did an outstanding job and provided outstanding service. They deserve a special remark from me at least.

PS: we managed to actually catch a clear view of Everest on a rainy day, thanks to the Tibet driver whom woke us up after 9.00PM when sky became almost clear. Ditto to that guy !
