As the second largest city of Tibet, Shigatse is full of wonderful places to visit. It has many famous and popular travel destinations in Tibet. The great hostorical city Gyantse is also located in Shigatse Prefecture. You should never miss the unique Palcho Monastery in Gyantse. Shigatse is another spiritual center of Tibet. It has the holy Tashilhunpo Monastery which is the seat of the Panchen Lamas who is one of two biggest leaders of Tibetan Buddhism.
