It was a great trip where we enjoyed getting to know your country with its ancient history, beautiful views and amazing modern architecture. We found everyday Chinese people warm hearted and always willing to come to the rescue of a visitor despite the lack of common language. I would like to mention to you some of our outstanding guides who we met along the way: In Beijing we were welcomed by Linda who has encyclopedic knowledge of Chinese history, traditions and culture. She was incredible, so warm hearted, so welcoming, so patient. When we were parting with her at the Beijing Train Station, we truly felt we were leaving a friend behind. In Lhasa my wife unfortunately fell ill affected by the high-altitude sickness, and our guide Tenzin did everything in his power and beyond making sure my wife was the most comfortable having access to medications, oxygen concentrator at the hotel day and night, while taking me to the scheduled tours. He was extremely caring and comforting and even called us after we left Lhasa for Chengdu to inquire about my wife's health. In Chengdu we enjoyed the company of Kevin who showed us around and answered all our endless questions about Great Pandas, recommending good places to eat and visit on our own afterhours. In Guilin Stephen was absolutely fantastic! He was so friendly, so warm hearted, trying to foresee every need, making sure we have the best access to everything, answering all our questions, presenting his native city and the country in the best light, making sure we understand the history and the culture. Besides, when my clothes got ruined due to rain, he helped us to shop for the new clothes after finishing the scheduled daily tour. Your company has a tremendous team of people who made our trip an exceptional one, and we thank you all for making this trip a trip of a lifetime!"

"So we are back home in Denmark after 3 wonderful weeks in China. We have enjoyed every moment and not least the 4 days we had in Tibet. Pur bu the guide was such a great guide. He was so knowledgeable, and I learned so much from him. His knowledge of Tibetan culture and history was amazing. I loved all the activities and things I got to see. Tibet is such a unique and incredible place I felt so lucky and blessed to be there and to have those two help me guide through it. "We enjoyed the trip! Drivers - punctual and polite, car is immaculately clean and comfortable, driving was smooth. Guide - very knowledgeable and experience, catered to our every need and was always making sure we are alright, extremely helpful and caring, even made a video for us of the trip which we deeply appreciate. Food - we did not want to eat at the small eateries, choosing to go to more upmarket restaurants. Our bills were usually higher than the budget. We were happy to top up the balance though. The restaurants the guide brought us to were of good standard and we really enjoyed our meals. She was joyous, happy and always willing to go the extra mile for us. Itinerary - it was well thought out and certainly ideal for us. The guide also went out of her way to show us the city center when we had a free half day. We like the fact that correspondences via emails and wechats were quick and responsive. This way, our queries were addressed speedily. "That is the very least I could do! This has now been posted on Trip Advisor as requested. My wife and I took the plunge to book a 4 day river cruise upstream from Yichang to Chongqing. "the trip was amazing. China is really something different that I imagined, of course in a positive way. Places that we have visited were really worth seeing. In general I have nothing to complain about. Hotels were really comfortable. The food was very good. Transportation between cities was also comfortable, especially the trains. Of course the amount of transfers was large and every second day we had to unpack and pack again but it was inevitable according to the amount of places we have visited. (to me it was not necessary to sleep in Yangshuo, we could easily return to Guilin the same day to avoid sleeping in different hotels for just one night). Guides were also very helpful and gave us a lot of information. Special thanks to Jenny from Xi'an. I think she was the best of all guides and had a lot of patience to answer all of my questions. "I cannot say enough wonderful things about Vivien Li from Chengdu Bamboo International Tours (also known as China Discovery Tours). She provided one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had while helping me book my Yangtze River cruise. From the very beginning, Vivien was incredibly professional—diligent, responsive, patient, and resourceful. I had many questions during the planning process, and she took the time to answer every single one thoroughly and thoughtfully. She also sent helpful reminders about meeting times and locations, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free.
