What to See at Lulang Forest

As a famous scenic area in Lulang Town, Lulang Forest with alpine scenery embraced by castle peaks from low to high is full of dense bushes and spruce pine trees along the long-narrow valley dotted with meadows and streams. About 80 km from Nyingchi County, beside the 318 National Highway, Lulang Forest is reached via overland driving. Whether you enter Tibet from Lhasa or Nyingchi Airport, Bayi Town as a transfer point to head toward Lulang followed the interesting snaked switchback highway to the left and right. Later you will get to this forest sea by reaching a snow covered high upwards before descending again.
