No Tibet Travel Permits being issued from 25th June to 30th July, 2011

No Tibet Travel Permits are being issued for foreign travelers (including Hong Kong and Taiwan tourists) from 25th June to 30th July, 2011.

Today, 15th June, 2011, we are officially informed from the Tibet Travel Bureau that the Tibet Travel Permit will be stopped releasing from 25th June to 30th July, 2011, because of the 60th anniversary of the Tibetan people's peaceful liberation, and to make sure the celebration activities go smoothly.

If you were planning to explore the Holy Land during this period, we're sorry to say that you would have to put off the tour until August, 2011.

Notes:

1. There will be a great upsurge in Tibet tourism after the anniversary celebration, which means an increase in charges for your next trip. So, you'd better book with us eariler and get more discounts with our flexible private Tibet tours or guaranteed departure join-in Tibet trips.

2. If you could not change the date of your trip, you would have to make an alternative tour plan in China. Actually, if what attracts you is the ultimate Tibetan-style things, Shangri-la is the best option. It is mysterious and beautiful, a Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province. In Shangri-la, you also can enjoy the Tibetan history, culture, building, and Festivals. Shangri-la is also called the best place to feel closely to “Heaven”, and best place to enjoy hiking.
