In addition, the tickets will only be issued 1-5 days in advance, which costs a really high commision fee, sometimes, even higher than the ticket itself.
So most of our clients in the past months finally gave up on the train, and took the flight there. The Beijing Lhasa air ticket officially costs around 2580RMB, but usually the eariler you enquire, the more discount we can offer. There are DAILY flights between Beijing and Lhasa with a
stopover in Chengdu or Chongqing.
Usually the flights depart Beijing in
the morning and arrive in Lhasa in
the afternoon, within about 5 hours. The flights back to Beijing from Lhasa always depart in the
afternoon and arrive at night.

Every SINGLE day, Train T27 starts
from Beijing West Railway Station at
20:09 and arrives Lhasa Railway
Station on the third day at 16:00.
