Tibet, short for Tibet Autonomous Region (西藏), one of the Five Ethnic Minority Autonomous Region in China, is located in southwestern China, adjacent to 4 domestic provinces of Xinjiang in the north, Qinghai in northeast, Sichuan in east and Yunnan in southeast respectively, and India, Burma, Bhutan and Nepal in the south.
