Thanks for your inquiry, heritage sites of Nepal are mainly located in Kathmandu Valley, in Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur. Pokhara is in west of Kathmandu with the beautiful Phewa Lake.
If you live in Thamel Street, you can first walk about 15 minutes to the Kathmandu Durbar Square, then continue walk 30 minutes (10 minutes by taxi) to Swayambhunath (also known as “Monkey Temple”). Boudhanath Stupa and Pashupatinath are in the northeast side of central Kathmandu, and they are close to each other with a short distance of 2.5km. Suggest you plan the latter sites in the next day.
Finally, you can take tourist bus to visit Pokhara for about 7~8 hours on the road.
