Day 1 Beijing Arrival

Welcome to Beijing, the Capital City of China. Your local guide is ready to welcome you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax or to explore this dynamic capital city on your own.

Day 2 Beijing ( B, L )

In the morning, you will visit the world's biggest city plaza, the Tiananmen Square where you can see the China National Museum, Grand Hall of the People and other landmarks. Walking through Tiananmen Gate, you will enter the Forbidden City, the most grand and best-kept imperial palace complex in China. Afterwards, pay a visit to the Jingshan Park to enjoy the panorama view of the whole Forbidden City and the City of Beijing! 

In the afternoon, you will marvel at the spectacular Temple of Heaven, a holy temple in which emperors worshiped Heaven for good harvest. 

After the tour, be driven back to your hotel. 

Day 3 Beijing ( B, L )

Today will drive to the beautiful Mutianyu Great Wall (80km away from Beijing downtown), it is known for its beautiful surroundings. It is a superb location to appreciate the grandness of the Great Wall as well as to avoid the crowds at Badaling.

After hiking on the Mutianyu Great Wall for about 1 or 2 hours. On the way to Beijing downtown, make a stop at the Beijing Olympic Village to take some pictures of the world-famed "Bird's Nest" and the "Water Cube" from the outside. 

Day 4 Flight to Guilin from Beijing ( B, L )

In the morning, you will take a rickshaw tour to explore the hutongs, the disappearing ancient alleys and courtyards of Old Beijing. En route, you will visit a local family, see his typical courtyard houses and experience the daily life of Beijing commons. Have lunch in their family, and you can learn to make Chinese dumplings if you like.

In the afternoon, be escorted to the airport for a flight to Guilin, a beautiful town in China. After arrival in Guilin, transferred to your hotel in Guilin. The rest of today is at your leisure.

Day 5 Guilin Li River Cruise ( B, L )

After breakfast, you will be driven to Zhujiang Pier (40-minute drive) to start your boat cruise down the picturesque Li River, which is the highlight of any visit to Guilin, until you get to Yangshuo County. Along the river, you will be inspired by breathtaking views of peaks and pinnacles, crystal-clear water and picturesque pastoral views of rice paddies and water buffaloes. Visitors feel they have stepped into a traditional Chinese painting. After checking into your hotel, you will take a bike tour along Jima Road.

Day 6 Flight to Shanghai from Guilin ( B, L )

Today, drive back to Guilin (1.5-hour drive) and have a city tour of the Elephant Trunk Hill, Pearl Museum and the Reed Flute Cave before your transfer to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon your arrival at Shanghai, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.

Day 7 Shanghai ( B, L )

On this day you will visit the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, which chronicles Shanghai's past, present and future, then take a stroll through the Yu Garden. After, you can observe local people's life at the Yuyuan Market and immerse yourself in the peaceful atmosphere of the Jade Buddha Temple.

In the evening you enjoy a wonderful and optional Acrobatic Show.

Day 8 Flight to Mt. Huang from Shanghai ( B, L )

After breakfast, you will walk down the Bund along the Huangpu River and visit Nanjing Road, and then get a bird's eye view of Shanghai from the Jinmao Tower. After, you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to Mt. Huangshan. Upon your arrival at city of Huangshan (Tunxi), our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.

Day 9 Mt. Huang ( B, L )

After breakfast, drive 80 kilometers (1.5 hour-drive) to Huangshan Scenic Area and take cable car at Yungu Station to the top of the mountain. After check-in and lunch, you will view Brush Pen Peak, tour Lion Peak and Xihai Grand Canyon, enjoy the sunset glow at the Cloud Dispelling Pavilion, etc. Stay overnight at the summit.

Day 10 Back to Shanghai from Mt. Huang ( B, L )

Try to get up early in the morning to catch the magical sunrise, after breakfast, tour the Begin-to-Believe Peak to see the grotesque pinetrees, after all the exercise, take the cable car down to the foot of the Mt. Huangshan, drive back to the city of Huangshan to visit Tunxi Ancient Street and Ink Stone Factory before your transfer to the airport for the flight back to Shanghai. Upon your arrival at Shanghai, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.

Day 11 Shanghai Departure ( B )

Today is free for you until be transferred to the airport and take your flight to your next destination or back home.
